Simply write blogs and get involved in discussions on a daily basis 1-5 articles per day. this will help your music website marketing strategy to no end.

5th rule - Always link to your website with keywords

Never link to your website by using terms such as click here or www.yourband.com all this does is increases your search engine relevancy for the terms click here or yourband.com - instead use links that are relevant to your search engine marketing requirements. ie - chillout music by dehive - in this example I am trying to get good search engine results for chillout, music, & dehive (my band name)

6th rule - Don't call your pages page1.htm etc.

When you are writing pages for your website always keep in mind the 'keywords' that you are attempting to appear highly for ie www.yourband.com/free-mp3-downloads.htm rather than www.yourband.com/freemp3downloads.htm or www.yourband.com/page2.htm
